Klaus: A Film With A Very Important Message
Klaus is a Spanish animated film that all families should see at home, as it transmits a series of very important and valuable messages for people’s personal and vital development.
Since its premiere in November 2019, it has been well received by the public and has received many positive reviews. In fact, it has won several awards and has been nominated for best animated feature film at the 2019 Oscars.
All these recognitions are due, among many other reasons, to the original way in which the director and screenwriter, Sergio Pablos, explains the legend of Santa Claus. Haven’t you seen this magical movie yet? What are you waiting for?
Synopsis of the film
Klaus tells the story of a spoiled young man named Jesper who was used to living well without working. His father, who was responsible for the postal service, decides to teach him a lesson by sending him as a postman to Smeerensburg, a cold and isolated city, located on the Arctic Circle. There, he must fulfill a mission so as not to be disinherited; This mission consists of delivering 6000 letters in a year.
At first Jesper thinks the challenge is simple. However, when he arrives in the city, he learns that its inhabitants live in a permanent conflict, divided and confronted in two groups, the Ellingboe and the Krum, so they never exchange letters between them.
This situation despairs the young postman, who is unable to fulfill his mission. But one day everything changes. By chance, he meets Klaus , an old man who lives alone at the top of the mountain and who has a house full of toys made by him.
Due to a series of circumstances, these two characters begin to work together, in order to distribute at night, and without anyone seeing them, toys to all those children who write a letter asking for them.
The little ones begin to share their gifts and play together, regardless of which group they belong to. This is a great lesson for adults, since in the end they manage to put aside differences and live peacefully with all their neighbors.
Also, receiving a large number of letters, Jesper quickly completes his mission. But, when he achieves his goal, everything has changed: he is a better person who cares about others and strives to make others happy; And besides, Smeerensburg has become a wonderful city to live in.
Klaus: a film with a very important message
The most important message that Klaus transmits to us is that maintaining a good coexistence is always possible, it only takes people to treat each other with respect and use dialogue to solve problems.
Unfortunately, as in the film, sometimes adults, with their behaviors and comments of intolerance, hatred and rejection towards others, make children grow up assuming antisocial behaviors. I can not consent this!
Adults, and especially mothers and fathers, are role models for children. So you have to try to take care of the attitude that is shown before the little ones and try to transmit certain ethical and moral values, such as accepting and respecting diversity.
Other teachings of the film
Likewise, this film, through the situations experienced by the different characters throughout history, leaves many other teachings on issues related to
- Self-improvement.
- Forgiveness.
- The effort.
- The importance of not judging.
- Altruism.
So don’t wait any longer and gather your family to watch this beautiful animated film together.
